Keynote Speakers:

  • Lieutenant Cody Rome – USNA Class of 2012.
    An Idaho native, Lieutenant Rome was a varsity scholar athlete while at the Naval Academy. He commissioned as a Submarine Warfare Officer, serving his first command on the USS LOUISVILLE (SNSN-724) with two Western Pacific Deployments, which included multiple missions vital to national security. During his tour, he held the major billets of Assistant Weapons Officer, Damage Control Assistant, Main Propulsion Assistant, and Ship’s Diving Officer. LT Rome now serves as an Assistant Professor of Naval Science and a Naval Nuclear Power Programs Officer at NROTC Maine Maritime Academy in Castine, Maine

  • Ensign Teo Ledesma – USNA Class of 2016.
    The son of an Academy grad, Ensign Ledesma followed in his father’s footsteps, commissioning as a Surface Warfare Officer. His first assignment is on the USS PORT ROYAL (CG-73) as Communications Officer, where he is responsible for the ship’s communications and networks. Finishing his first deployment earlier this year, he participated in many exercises — executing missions in Anti-Submarine, Anti-Surface, Anti-Piracy and Joint Community Operations working alongside with the US Coast Guard Special Forces Team.
